Intensive Voice Over Workout!

Commercial, Corporate and LIVE Voice Overs

From the the successful series of VOICEWORX! - Voice Acting seminars, comes a targeted program catering to one of the most demanding aspects of voice over jobs - Commercial, Corporate and Live Voice Overs..

This is your chance to improve your voice over skills and further their careers in the industry. Recommended for voice actors for commercial and live events, those who want to learn new tips and tricks of the trade, and the latest buzz in the industry. Or if you are just starting out, this intensive voice over workout will give you the edge over other voice actors.

It will leave you feeling exhausted, but overwhelmed with potentials!

WHAT ABOUT COMMERCIALS?

Commercial Voice Overs are amongst the highest paid and critically screened jobs for voice actors. Producers, Agencies and Companies are paying by the millions for airtime, and they want just the perfect voice for the job. In the Philippines, it is estimated that less than 50 people are marked for the job, out of 2000 voice talents available in Metro Manila alone.

And only a handful of these 50 people are getting what they deserve... More return calls for projects every week!

"I always tell producers, you can get amateurs or newcomers for the job, but don't expect professional results.." says Apollo Abraham. He adds that with a professional voice over, you save time, effort and face - meaning getting the right guy to represent your company or event, and avoiding embarrassing circumstances.

The "trade name" - Abraham, appears as a guest speaker in the program - will provide an in-depth look on what producer's and clients are looking for, and how you maintain the clientèle. His extensive experience on voice over work for commercial and live events, will be heard for the first time in a controlled environment.

Aside from standard VOs for commercials, the demand for character actors in this field has grown in the last 10 years. "Its all about maintaining the character and being there.." explains Jeff Utanes. "Many people can imitate a phrase, a word or two.. but when faced with auditions.. it's a whole new ball game.." Utanes adds, saying that he always gets the job done right not because he can imitate the voice, but because he can act it.

Utanes, is a Veteran Dubbing Director at ABS-CBN and Hero TV and is the beloved voice of: Son Gokou in "Dragon Ball Z" (Tagalog TV Series), Aljon in "Oh! Feel Young" (Korean soap) (Tagalog), Ariel Villaroel, Lopez and Atty. Sanchez in "Letty la mas Fea" (La Fea mas Bella), Charlie in "Amazing Twins" (Mandarin TV series) (Tagalog), Jumong in "Jumong " (Tagalog), Narrator in "Aalog Alog" (Tagalog), Principal Sumulong in "Masayang Tanghali Bayan" (Tagalog), Shinya Hiraga in "Geisenshin Justirisers" (Tagalog), Son Goku in "The Monkey Adventure" (J-Drama) (Tagalog), Voice Over in "Commercial Products" (Arthro) (Tagalog),Voice Over in "Sharon" (ABS-CBN Primetime Talkshow) (Tagalog) and many more. His talk in the seminar will focus mainly on doing character voice overs and trade secrets on how to do voices for animation and dubbing.
